No water dogs here

We used to have a Golden Retriever who absolutely loved the water. He'd jump in any body of water he could find. And he LOVED baths.

When we got our son's Black Lab we were surprised to discover he didn't care so much for water. He's gotten better in the 4 yrs. we've had him and will tolerate it now.

Our second son just got an Australian Shepherd and he LOATHES water. What is up with that? Scott and Chase gave him a much-needed bath yesterday and he was just miserable.

Day 20

We picked up our new family member first thing this morning. This is Hershey:

So far he's been really sweet. He and Dakota get along well and have worn each other out playing. He is terrific with the kids. However, he doesn't know what to make of the cats. It will take a bit of time for them to get used to each other.

Chase is happy with his new best friend.
