March

Let's see...what was March? March was Liam growing and growing....way too fast. He also got his very first haircut.

March was my oldest, Conner, getting injured playing Ultimate Frisbee. He had a swollen nose and a broken thumb. His left thumb. And he's left-handed. And a competitive bowler. So, yeah. No bowling or other sports for awhile.

March was also our 18th anniversary. Scott gave me my annual roses.

Then we went out for a very fun progressive dinner. The weather was beautiful, the food amazing, and the company perfect. :)

That was March.

Fabulous Fifteen

Today Scott and I celebrate our 15th anniversary. He started a tradition long ago of buying me roses - one for every year we are married, and one for every child.

So this year I got a beautiful bouquet of 15 red roses, 1 pink rose ( our daughter ) and 5 yellow roses ( our sons).

I am blessed

These arrived yesterday from my husband to celebrate our anniversary. He gets me one red rose for each year of marriage (14 this year) and then different flowers or colors to signify the children. This year there was one pink rose for our daughter and 4 purple for our sons.

What a great hubby! Thank you, I love you!!

out on the town

Scott and I have an anniversary coming up on Monday. So last night we got all gussied up and went out.

We went here:

We had never been but I heard how yummy it was. And oh boy, was it!!

This picture does not do my steak justice. They had prime rib on special so I ordered that. And get this -- it was 30 0z!!! I brought home 3/4 of it. Scott had a very large T-bone and he brought home about half of it.

They gave us a free dessert of our choice - - we picked Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake. Divine!! Yep, most of that came home, too. We'll be eating some fancy leftovers.

After dinner, we went to an improv. comedy club. It was a fun night.

14 Happy Years!!
